The Crawley Anateur Radio Club has a long track record of entering contests. Below is a BBC clip we recently discovered on cine-film from National Field Day 1963. Personally I love the wooden ladders.
These days we join forces with our friends at the Reigate Amateur Transmitting Society (RATS) to take part in RSGB and IARU VHF/UHF contests. We have members across the UK who bolster the core membership from the two local clubs in our various outings.
